Double win for JJ Rhatigan at prestigious Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2019

JJ Rhatigan & Company is honoured to have won two prestigious awards at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2019 for our work on Waterford Primary Care Centre and Thomas Burgh House.

These awards are a great recognition of the hard work and commitment of all the team at JJ Rhatigan & Company, and underpins the strong collaborative relationships we have built up over the years with clients, design teams and subcontractors across Ireland and the UK.

Having multiple projects shortlisted for such highly regarded awards and being eventual winners in two categories raises the collective spirit across our organisation and encourages excellence as a habit throughout the company.

The feedback both within JJ Rhatigan and from our clients, subcontractors and suppliers has been wonderful and we would like to extend our sincere congratulations and thanks to all involved in the design, build and delivery of both Thomas Burgh House and Waterford Primary Care Centre.

Winning the Irish Construction Excellence Award for Healthcare/Education, Project of the Year 2019 is an excellent endorsement of both our work on Waterford Primary Care Centre and of the overall delivery of the 14 Primary Cares Centres in this PPP project bundle, completed nationwide for our client the Heath Service Executive.

Thomas Burgh House was awarded Commercial under €10m, Project of the Year 2019. This landmark project involved the restoration and repurposing of a 17th century Huguenot Church, St Luke’s in Dublin 8 transforming it into a three-storey modern, state-of-the-art office space, with suspended floors and a fully visible hanging steel structure.
