Design and construction of a new seven storey building plus basement to accommodate a new format, 61 bed compact city centre hotel in the heart of Bank, London.
Situated on a challenging site, the works involved demolition of the existing building and retention of the existing four storey facade to St Swithin’s Lane, a busy pedestrian footfall. The façade was retained internally to maintain full access to the pedestrian street throughout construction. The site had a small footprint with limited access, requiring stringent logistics planning and programming.
