The works consisted of the construction of a 6 storey accommodation building with ancillary plant room at roof level and welfare facilities at ground floor level. It is located adjacent to Roebuck Castle within the UCD Campus and was awarded the RIAI Best Sustainability Project in 2011.

This building was built to exemplary standards of sustainability and is constructed to ‘Passive House’ guidelines achieving A3 BER & an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating. The 133 individual en-suite student study/bedrooms have shared kitchenette, living & study facilities with common student laundry, internet and fitness amenities together with a fully equipped café/restaurant provided at ground floor level.
