Work is nearing completion on the grounds of St. Ita’s Hospital Portrane, Co. Dublin and when complete, it will comprise of a 170 bedroom Hospital to include 13 hospital wards, a primary healthcare, therapy centre and administrative complex.

It will include a 120 bed National Forensic Hospital, a 10 bed Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit, a 10 bed Forensic Mental Health Intellectual Disability Unit and a 30 bed Intensive Care Rehabilitation Unit totalling approximately 24,000 sq.m of floor area, all within a single campus. The NFMHS Hospital campus has been designed to facilitate segregated high and medium secure services and includes a number of shared facilities. It will include 13 hospital wards, a primary healthcare & therapy centre and administrative complex.
