The project involved the development of a housing estate of 50 Social & Affordable Housing Units of various styles, terraced, semi-detached and detached for Galway County Council in Athenry and associated works, including an ancillary road joining regional roads along the site.

The works on this project included both hard and soft landscaping. As well as seeding the green areas of the housing development, trees were planted at the entrance to the estate, public open spaces and to private gardens of the houses.

A sustainable urban drainage system called Aquaflow permeable paving was used on the driveways of the houses.  This system allows the rainwater to infiltrate through a permeable lock paving surface into a unique sub-base before being released in a controlled manner in to the water courses.
