KCI is a leading global medical technology company devoted to the discovery, development, manufacture and marketing of innovative, high-technology therapies and products for the wound care, tissue regeneration and therapeutic support system markets.

This project involved the provision of cleanrooms, research laboratories and warehousing together with office upgrades. All work was carried out in a live environment with minimal disruption to the operations of the plant being tolerated. The clean rooms were constructed to ISO Class 8. The rooms were designed to operate independently of each other and also to allow varying control options to enable different processes to be carried out simultaneously in the adjoining clean rooms.

The office upgrade works included the provision of a new reception area, access control, CCTV and increased canteen and office facility to accommodate the increased labour force.
