The project involved a Local Authority Housing Scheme, Crèche & Community Centre. The scheme consists of 70 no. social, affordable and voluntary single and 2 storey dwelling of 2 and 3 bedroom units. It was built on a sloping site, with maximum use of existing terraine.

The 2 bed houses were constructed with the bedrooms at basement below road level, with retaining walls at road level. A concrete stairs to back gardens was constructed between those houses. Because of the sloping conditions, semi detached houses at varying roof levels, i.e. In a pair of houses, one ceiling height was 2.4m and the other was 2.7m. Access to the rear of houses was through a 1m gap between houses, so extensive planning and organisation was necessary for the organisation of materials and finishes.

The development is very much a community based development with a mixture of young families and elderly people as tenants. For this reason, a community centre and crèche were also constructed. It also consists of a secure Play ground and amenity area. The playground was done in mass concrete and all public paths consist of paving.
