Description:
This was a design and build project . This hotel is located in Ballincar, surrounded by the picturesque countryside of Rosses Point, built on the site of the original Ballincar House Hotel. The development consists of: 132 bedrooms, including suites, and business class rooms. 11 meeting rooms over 1,031sqm with full business centre facilities. Benbulben Ballroom with a capacity of 950 theatre style or 450 banquet style. Large Restaurant, Bar and residents Lounge. Luxurious Solas spa and wellness centre with 12 purpose built treatment rooms, relaxation room and hydro suite. Leisure Centre Spa boasting a state of the Art gym, 18m heated swimming pool, children’s pool, sauna, steam, Jacuzzi and outdoor Canadian hot tub. A spa was also included with a hydro therepy bath. Basement and surface parking for over 200 vehicles. The company was responsible for both the construction and the fit out of the overall complex. The project also involved complete M&E installation to the hotel including internal and external works with state of the art installation for conference room, function rooms and leisure facilities.
Key Features:
As a condition of planning the main building had to be kept in character with existing hotel features, including a unique chimney structure which was replicated from the original structure. Attention was given to the sound proof structure between the rooms which was a Radisson SAS specific requirement.
