Dunlin Village is a brand new Phase 2 student residence located on campus, close to Phase 1, Goldcrest Village.

This is a Design & Build project and involves the construction of 674 bed spaces across 125 apartments. The site is situated on a green field north of the existing Corrib Village Student Accommodation.

This project represents Phase 2 of a substantial initiative by the University of Galway to develop a commercially viable, modern, appealing and environmentally friendly student accommodation on campus.

The 125 apartments will be arranged in clusters of 4-6 en-suite bedrooms, with communal living area in each unit. Further communal areas and facilities, internal plant/service rooms, refuse storage and covered cycle storage facilities are also provided to serve the entire development.

The scheme will be arranged in four blocks with Block A ranging from four to eight storeys, Block B and D comprising six storeys, Block C comprising four storeys with associated courtyards, pedestrian access, vehicular access and drop-off and parking facilities for the less mobile. Works will include intensive site landscaping.
