An extension to an existing building for Kepak Meats Division, the primary processing business unit of Kepak Group.

This project consisted of a 1200m² extension to an existing slaughter house, and included 2 cold rooms (1 blast freezer and 1 cold room). Temporary hoarding was used alongside 2 sides of the building to seal off the existing building from the extension whilst demolition and construction works were ongoing. It was critical that no dust contamination entered into the operating boning hall and this was achieved successfully.

The build was of structural steel portal frame construction with an insulated cladded envelope.
