The Carolyn House redevelopment provides a major facelift to a prominent site at 26 Dingwall Road, Croydon being delivered for HSBC Pension Fund.<\/p>\n
Joined by the client professional team LaSalle, Stace, Arcus PCD and Colliers International as well as design team members from Liam Russell Architects, Scott White and Hookins and key subcontractors, JJ Rhatigan marked the project milestone with a topping-out ceremony on the new rooftop of the development.<\/p>\n
The complex project involves the refurbishment, conversion and extension of a major mixed-use redevelopment. Early works involved strip out and partial internal demolition of the existing 1960\u2019s, 17 storey office block. Once structural works were undertaken, 6 new storeys were added to the existing building and re-cladding commenced.<\/p>\n
On schedule for completion in mid-2019, the project will include a mezzanine reception area , caf\u00e9s and co-working space for residents to the ground and part first floors. The remaining levels are to be redeveloped into 183 residential apartments to be handed over to PRS provider \u2018Native\u2019.
